1. Unsucessful, No reception. Pilot certain DZ by map reading, 2 lakes and main road in valley.found and that no reception present. A/c circled for 16 minutes. Pinpoint found by map reading.

2. DZ definitly found, About 6th time over DZ, R/G saw very quick lightening belived to be SOE anb light flashing "Y". Could not be seen again in further circuts. There appeared to be much transport and lights flashing within 10/20 miles. No reception. Div. Earls Colne, petrol shortage.

Light arr. Flashing "V". DZ found by mapreading 2 lakes and main road, DZ in valley. No drop, no reception.
