DZ identified by ground reception. Dropped 1/4-1/2 mile NW of DZ. Lights very faint and hard to identify. No hangups, all chutes opened.

2. SOE Curb 11. Not completed - no reception. Pos of DZ 60.44.25-10.28.45E. Route same as above. Visibility good, No enemy action, Landed Great Dunmow due to shortage of fuel. DZ found, lake crossed 6035/1020W and island at 6045/1100 seen. DZ circled for 20 min at 2000'AGL. Cant and R/G report lot of activity along roads into Gjøvik. Ligting system C type, flashing "U".

10/10ths at 1000', base with high cloud near Norway on way back. 200 miles, wide spread front.
23:15 hrs at 5830/0910E fromn 7500', On port beam 4-5 miles distant a large reddish oragne "bonfire" seen which went out after ab. 5 mins. -between GRIMSAD and ARENDAL a flashing white ligh signalling "C.B" every 10 sec. This stopped ab. 23:25 hrs.
