This crew was originally detailed to fly in A/C "E" (LK433), but this was found to be U/Z aftere ground checks and change was subsecuently made to "H" (QS). this delayed the takeoff time but as winds encountered were not as stroung as briefed good flying time was made o the outward journey. A very successful tripp, good ground organization with clear lighteninng system. Coastal area of Norway free of snow, and inland lakes all clearly pinpointed. Diversion to Carnaby, Yorkshire on return as weather at base doubtful for landing.
