1. Stirling IV "O" EF264 on operation POMMEL 6 captained by F/Lt Isaacson. He was unable to find his correct DZ and dropped on alt DZ probably Pommel 15. At 23:20 a single engined aircraft was seen in DZ area, but it did not attack either the aricraft or reception comitteee. At 23:44 postition 5953N/0950E a twin egnined aircraft was seen crossing their track at right angles, but it rurned in and followed them a short time. There was no attack.

2. Stirling IV "Y" LK276 on operation POMMEL 6 captained by F/Lt Bliss. Dropped the full load and he got very good reception at his DZ. He reported light fak at position 3012N/1028E at 23:54 as well as flak and searchslights very active in the Olso area. At 23:41 position 6007N/1030E a small uidentified aircraft was seen to go in and land aat an aerodrome.. Outbound he saw what was probably an aircraft shot down over Kristiansand after intense flak. It fell in flames and was seen burning on the ground. Light flak was also reported at 6012N/1028E.
