1. Captains report:
Stilrling IV LJ*975 "V" on TAIL III. W/O Wylie expermimental no difficulty in dropping his full load at the DZ. He obtained many good pinpoints and reported bak that the main lakes though probably frozen were not snowcovered and could be easily recognized. Flak was observed at several points along the route with greatest concentration coming from flak ships in the Oslo Fjord. He also dropped 4 bundles on "nickels" north of Kristiansand.- He landed at Marston Moor on return. *(Must be LK275 - LJ275 not exist)

2. Captains report:
Stirling LJ999 "A2" on operation TAIL III. W/O Currie was unable to drops his load owing to unsatisfactory reception at the DZ. With the aid of acurate pinpoints he indentified the DZ but there were only two steady lights and no flashing letter. Flak was experioenced along the route where expected.
